AUTO-PILOT'S MANUAL: VIII.

1. In learning the controls, your job will make you aware of the various parts and functions of your craft in increasing detail.

2. When a part or function is in disorder, it at once means that it has lost contact with the control room or that it has not developed the contact.

3. The emergency steps, perhaps, the only steps required are:
a. Get back to the control room.
b. Stay there and report accurately all the positive and negative findings of your craft, item by item.

4. Isolate the part and do not allow the disturbance to spread to the rest of the craft.

5. Induce peace and joy and gratitude and love into all the parts unaffected and then into the parts affected.

6. Even in the midst of a disorder, let your craft express gratitude, love, oneness, joy and thankfulness towards all that comes to awareness, to the best of the ability of the craft.

7. Remember that in fulfilling the work of expressing love, oneness, thankfulness, joy, positive speech, truth lies the total well-being of the craft.

Master one key-word, a master-switch which by repeated use operates control over the whole craft and in detail, too. The word will act like a main-switch. Remember that the Hijacker is always setting fire to the craft, your house: signs of anger, depression, frustration, etc., are the signs of the smoke. All these lead to disease and death for all suicides are always extreme end results of these emotions.

Just as when a house is on fire, the first thing is to switch off the mains, and to direct jets of water on the fire, it is good to have a master-word whose use at the slightest sign of smoke will bring the fire-fighting equipment instantaneously into action.

AUTO-PILOT'S MANUAL: V. Control Room and Ground Control

  1. At some point in the pilots apprenticeship course he will become automatically aware of control room and ground control.
  2. He will learn that the control room is an extension of the ground control.
  3. He will learn that the learning of control lies in accurately reporting to the control room or ground control ALL THAT COMES TO AWARENESS without editing. It is the Hijacker who Edits.
  4. In training his craft to more and more accurately 'log', 'report', ALL THAT COMES TO AWARENESS, through whatever channel - mind, dream, eye, ear, muscle, word, thought, feeling, all the nerves etc., without editing, annotating and amplifying, and such other habits introduced by the Hijacker, the pilot does his job and the ground control does the needful. It is the Hijacker who thinks that with the limited information he has at his disposal, he can reform, transform the ports of call or his craft etc. The ground control has a more total or global information and can use the information you give to the best advantage. If you have separate interests of your own, then Editing becomes necessary and YOU WILL KNOW WHO YOU ARE! The Ground Control keeps no secrets from you - see that you do not keep any secrets from the Ground Control. The Hijacker loves Mysteries and Secrets.
Falk Lademann - Ground Control
REMEMBER!
To establish the Age of Light and Delight on earth You must establish them first of all, in the bit of the Earth given you, called your own body.

       5. The pilot will soon learn that:

Expressing love, oneness, truth, joy, positive speech, learning the controls of the craft, accurately reporting to the control-room, being in constant contact with the ground control, all these are just the different facets of the same process.

AUTO-PILOT'S MANUAL: III. THE HIJACKER

THE HIJACKER is an 'old hand' at this game. His other names are DEVIL, EGO, BEAST, PAST, DEATH and so on. He himself does not use these names. HIS BASIC TRICK IS DEADLY AND SIMPLE. Since the craft has been built to obey the Signature word 'I', he simply forges the Signature 'I'.

Following is a list of the watermarks of the forgery:
1. What do 'I' get out of this journey? What for? What use? are his questions.

2. " 'I' want", is his trade mark: I want to be a doctor, rich man, great yogi. Never does he say 'I want to learn how to be a doctor or a yogi.
3. He is always acting in 'others interests'. Never for his own sake. 'I will kill myself for your sake.' What he means is he is willing to smash his craft to get his own way.

4. He is always acting on 'general principles'. If you ask him for a glass of water, he says 'I can give you, but what if everybody keeps asking me for water - so as a matter of principle I must refuse'.

5. He is always 'seeking' for something or the other. He has no time to see.

6. "IF' is best bet:
'if this port was cooler
'if this road was less bumpy'
'if I had more petrol'
'if the other pilots were not so rash'
'If I had been wise'

7. He is never 'Here and Now'. Always he is acting and talking as if he somewhere else, some other time.

8. He is never concerned with the welfare of his craft or its control. He is never in the control room. In fact, the more difficulties he gets into, the further away he moves from the control room in search of solutions. All answers for the difficulties of the craft are in the control room - but he is not interested in the solution of his difficulties. His interest is to spread as much disturbance as possible and make profit out of the chaos.

9. The Devil's fun is to point to the Devils in other crafts.

10. His happiness is full of conditions. Since his conditions can never be met by a constantly changing world, he is always frustrated and he mercilessly drives the craft in search of these 'illusory conditions' for his happiness.

11. He pretends that 'his interest' and the interests of the craft are identical - but every one of his actions is designed to destroy the craft.

12. Incapacity for genuine laughter. He is deadly serious about everything, as if the world will fall apart if he relaxes a bit.

13. HIS FOOD IS MISERY - His craft's and others'. The presence or awareness of the feelings or expression of frustration, anger, depression, jealousy, misery, remorse, fear, are a definite evidence of the Hijacker's presence. All, you, the pilot, have to do is to Stick to the Highway CODE.

Express LOVE, ONENESS, JOY or SILENCE: Hijacker will perish or move away for mere lack of food, for if the only food have is LOVE or JOY, the Hijacker will have to change his diet or die. Be kind to the Devil and give him plenty of JOY and LOVE for you have only that to give.

CONFIDENCE IN COMMUNICATION - Part XVI

Compassion, Love and Delight are coexistent and unconditional. When conditional, compassion becomes pity, the opposite of hate; delight becomes the laughter of a jackass when offered a carrot. The only way to know them is to make the body express them unconditionally.

CONFIDENCE IN COMMUNICATION - Part XIV

The seed of the banyan tree is very small. Falling into a minute cranny in a rock, it can grow and splinter the rock. Breaking rocks is not its law of life: finding a drop of water, from wherever it can is its law of life.

McKay Savage - Great Banyan Tree, Kolkata

Love, unconditional love, has no intention of destroying anything. Yet, in its presence many things might cease to exist in their present state.

Love is a power: Not the 'feminine' or 'effeminate' quality attributed to it by an anaerobic putrefying culture that makes of aggression and hate a heroic fashion and virtue.

TERRITORY AND STEWARDSHIP

I came into the world as a child. I have been looked after; from this I learnt to look after others.

I am a child of Mother Earth. Not satisfied with the milk and food she has given me for my daily need, I, Man, Nature's youngest child, and now the eldest, have only learnt eating, grabbing, pilfering, and not a bit of the love the Mother has shown me. The Great Mother has made me out of Her body and given me the means to grow, and the means to be delighted with her creations, and as the eldest and cleverest, to look after her creations. But, I have become like her first brainless children, a great eating machine, and today there is no beast on earth who has greater appetite and greed; I have become the cleverest eater and my whole brain is employed for the purpose of plundering the earth for my sole food and enjoyment.

Let me examine myself.

I walk from here to the post office. I see nothing, hear nothing, and my whole wonderful, complex brain is employed with the single miserable question - will there be a letter for me. I go there with blinkers, and there I have to wait, for there is some delay. I stand under  the glorious sky, under this beautiful tree, and the birds flying about, and much besides, but my mind is filled with impatience and annoyance, for the whole world has been reduced to the one miserable fact of receiving a letter.

Thankfulness and wonder have been shut out, and I feel bored and angry with the world, for I am too small a fellow for this wonderful gift given me - great complex radio, TV, telegraph, telephone, recording, playback, receiver, transmitter, amplifier, air conditioner, and a thousand other things combined into one compact machine called my body. Truly I must be a miserable little wretch, if this vast machine given to me was just for a meal, or receiving a letter whose ultimate basis is for a meal or some form of gobbling up something or other.

That tree, that wonderful sky, this beggar and that dog become wonderful only if I see them on the TV, and then too I have to feel happy because I can afford this TV and my neighbours cannot - and all the while, this machine of mine is ticking away, burning itself out.

I, Man, have evolved as the highest, to be a real master, a steward, and not a mother-killing monster. All I am, all I see, hear, feel, think and imagine is my territory, and I am the master, the steward of all this immensely rich territory I must look after. I shall wither and dry up if I am given all the food, and no one loves me, and nobody has any need for me, nobody has any pleasure in me; so the trees, animals, things and others.

I live because my Mother loved me and loves me. Let me learn to love and give joy, and the first thing to do is to give attention to all that comes to me. Let me get away from the greedy child's habit or the dog's habit of only keeping attention on the sweets and bones.

A farmer cuts channels to bring water to the field and the trees. The channel for love is attention, and love is the origin of all manifestation and the supporting energy behind it. Love is the first of foods.

A modern factory manager sits in his office with telephones, TV facilities and all sorts of other gadgets around him so that he can monitor and control the many aspects of his factory or territory, to be able to personally look after it.

Like that I am the steward for my earth, and I have been give a huge office for that purpose, equipped with a rich machinery which no one can duplicate. Only, I, small fool, child or demon, am in charge only on the lookout for grabbing, earing or burying the bones, not for looking after.

Truly I must be an idiot not to know the power of love as a sustainer of life and strength; for I know how I feel when I am liked and loved and how I feel when hated and despised. I need not spend days and years doing penance, reading scriptures to know the power of love. Let us say that I have a bad skin disease, even friends and relatives stop coming near me even just to say hello from a distance, what condition of mind I shall be in, how depressed and suicidal I must feel.

So in so many ways I have personally benefited from attention of love. Why then do I doubt its power!

Well, I may be told that human beings can respond to love. Animals, trees and objects do not.

Then, excellent! Start with human beings. Then, I shall cultivate the capacity to transmit love, the love that seeks no return, and the art of paying attention - the channel, how deep and wide it should be, what type of water and so on, for which plant etc. For love is like water and has its laws, and one gains experience as one goes along; whether the channel should be wide or narrow, whether it should be by thought, word, deed or gesture and so on. Later I can see by this experience what might be the result on trees etc.

Let alone a tree. See what happens to your bicycle if you pay no attention to it for a month; and then meditate on the power of love and attention.

I am the steward of my territory and I must look after it, and must become a skillful manager.  Despite this vast kingdom, if I get bored with life, then I must know who I am. Next time, when I pass a tree, or beggar, a friend or enemy, let me not pass without directing a kind word, thought or feeling or sheer joy as the case may be, and my purse is never empty for the bank account for love is inexhaustible; the more you spend, the more you receive.

It is said of the Buddha that he used to go for alms, not to get a meal, but as one excuse for meeting people and things and transmitting the vibration of love.

The world is in such a sorry state, not because of black marketeers or others, but because most of us have learnt to receive the benefits of love and hold on to them, rather than how to transmit it; and we die early with too much love we receive but do not give out, just as surely a man will die if he only breathes in and not out.

Referring to the biblical story of Esau and Jacob, the Mother commented that it is man's birthright to be the son of God and to be like Him, the Master, but man sells his birthright for a mess of pottage.

HATE BINDS, LOVE LIBERATES

One’s memory of things that hurt appears to be more sticky than the things that one enjoyed.

For thousands of persons who spend sleepless nights because of the supposed ingratitude or insult offered by someone, there may be hardly one who keeps awake thinking of the kindness someone has shown him. This hate poisons one’s own body first of all.

Of course, one can say that love also binds - as for instance, conjugal or parental love. But if this results in mutual constriction rather than growth, then it is because the basis of such love is a contractual obligation, a love that is based on the expectation of return and the feeling of frustration or rejection that is experienced by real or threatened non-return of the affection. This is not often openly acknowledged, but is concealed buy demands of respectability. The insecurity of this possessive love is only matched by the hate it engenders.

The love that is true compassion, a joy in a thing for its own sake is of a different order, and perhaps to be met with once in a millennium, in someone like Krishna, Buddha, or Christ. Krishna spoke of the binding nature of negative or demonic emotions, and the liberating nature of positive or divine emotions.

While patiently trying to train the body to express and experience the positive or the divine emotions of the liberating kind, one can assiduously avoid the pitfall of cultivating hate, not only in its crude forms but also in the more subtle garbs in which it presents itself: Love of one’s country subtly hiding the hatred for others; I am a Buddhist full of love for all, only the others are ignorant sheep that have to be cudgled or cajoled into the system; praying to Christ for the effective physical annihilation of the enemy; telling the son that you are beating him for his own good and because of your immense love for him and so on.

Hate should be discouraged in all its forms by observing that its first effect is on one’s own body. Hate can destroy or deform, never transform.

Hate should be counteracted by its antidote love.

This unconditioned compassion practiced and professed by the pacemakers, the Avatars, is difficult, but is the hallmark of the coming Man; and has nothing in common with the doctrine of love sold in the market by those who conveniently append the pacemaker's name as a trade mark, to more faithfully serve the existing social organization, an expression of its collective ego.

HATE BINDS, LOVE LIBERATES

Introduction: I have had cause to think about this particular teaching of Prof. Surya-of late and time and again.

From Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri:

Awakened to the meaning of my heart
That to feel love and oneness is to live
And this the magic of our golden change,
Is all the truth I know or seek, O sage
.

One’s memory of things that hurt appears to be more sticky than the things that one enjoyed.

For thousands of persons who spend sleepless nights because of the supposed ingratitude or insult offered by someone, there maybe hardly one who keeps awake thinking of the kindness someone has shown him. This hate poisons one’s own body first of all.

Of course, one can say that love also binds- as for instance, conjugal or parental love. But if this results in mutual constriction rather than growth, then it is because the basis of such love is a contractual obligation, a love that is based on the expectation of return and the feeling of frustration or rejection that is experienced by real or threatened non-return of affection. This is not often openly acknowledged, but is concealed by demands of respectability. The intensity of this possessive love is only matched by the hate it engenders.

The love that is true compassion, a joy in a thing for its own sake is of different order, and perhaps to be met with once in a millennium, in someone like Krishna, Buddha or Christ. Krishna spoke of the binding nature of negative or demonic emotions, and the liberating nature of positive or divine emotions.

While patiently trying to train the body to express and experience the positive or the divine emotions of the liberating kind, one can assiduously avoid the pitfall of cultivating hate, not only in its crude form but also in the more subtle garbs in which it presents itself: Love of one’s country subtly hiding the hatred of others; I am a Buddhist full of love for all, only the others are ignorant sheep who have to be cudgeled or cajoled into the system; praying to Christ for the effective physical annihilation of the enemy; telling the son that you are beating him for his own good and because of your immense love for him and so on.

Hate should be discouraged in all it forms by observing that its first effect is on one’s own body. Hate can destroy or deform, never transform.

Hate should be counteracted by its antidote love.

This unconditioned compassion practiced and professed by the pacemakers, the Avatars, is difficult, but is the hallmark of the coming Man; and has nothing in common with the doctrine of love sold in the market by those who conveniently append the pacemaker’s name as a trade mark, to more faithfully serve the existing social organization, an expression of its collective ego.
